Essex County Nature will celebrate their 28th Annual Dinner on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Fogolar Furlan Club in Windsor. The guest speaker this year is Graeme Gibson! Graeme is an acclaimed author and chair of the Pelee Island Bird Observatory. He is past president of PEN Canada and the recipient of both the Habourfront Festival Prize and the Toronto Arts Award, and is a member of the Order of Canada.
Mr. Gibson will present “Echos of a Working Eden” which will explore the way we humans relate emotionally, imaginatively, and physically to the natural world and damage done to us by our abandonment of Nature. This promises to be an incredible evening!
