We would be delighted\u00a0if you\u00a0would join us at our annual community gathering on Pelee Island. On May 14th the staff of Pelee Island Bird Observatory will be hosting a picnic lunch for our friends, neighbours and visitors to Pelee Island. We will be serving locally made sausages, vegetarian\/vegan dishes, salads, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks. Suggested donation is $5\/person. Payable at the event.<\/p>\n

What are my transport\/parking options getting to the event?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is limited parking on Stone Road. If you can, please carpool or bicycle.<\/p>\n

What can\/can’t I bring to the event?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please bring your own chairs, blankets and drinks.<\/p>\n

Can I bring my dog?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. There are 2 resident indoor cats that live at the observatory. <\/strong><\/p>\n

What if it rains?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rain or shine we will host the picnic.<\/p>\n
